THE RESULTS OF BRITISH EU Referendum

No real Surprises in Britsh EU referendum

This was a completely expected result,in my view. Why? Because great part of the population here believes in the myth that EU was controlling their country...
And that almost all problems in their society and lives were directly linked with EU "impositions"(jobs, immigration, foreigners etc).  Even that their sovereignty was under threat.. An inconceivable idea that can just be understood in the context of how much British politics and government have been using this idea for their own "profit", agendas...
Traditionally
UK has always been the less pro EU country in Europe. Generally defending interests that affect their own industry in favor of certain foreigner lobbies in areas like environment, agricultural production (including GMos). Obviously this is the side that the majority of people in UK don't get to know or accept. Besides that a popular press with titles like "daily mail" have  been doing a harmful and constant propaganda against EU and foreigner people (making generalizations from particular cases). Creating the type of messages that explores the fears and stimulates the most negative feelings in people ( the same line that benefits the extreme right parties in all Europe, and others like Fn in France with Marie le Pen, or UKip in Uk). In times of crisis people can easily buy and believe in these ideas because they are so simple and seem to offer a straight explanation.
I was gobsmacked when PM David Cameron proposed the referendum and started to campaign for the remain, because in fact he has never been pro Europe... Probably the broken situation in his party and the feeling that there was nothing to loose once that everything was lost already (regarding the possibility of himself being elected again) made him go ahead. The timing for the campaign was really bad (for UK and EU),if we take in account the historical circumstances.
There is even the possibility that this referendum was intentionally set up for failure if we take in account how short was the preparation and how bad the campaign was done, without almost no focus in the positive aspects of EU membership. The general public was not informed for example how much farms, education, industries and cultural initiatives in UK have already benefitted from EU.
